Many business leaders reach a point where the drive that built their success starts working against them. The pace is unsustainable. The team members aren’t growing or collaborating the way they should. Decisions feel heavier than they used to. And somewhere underneath all the busyness and activity is the persistent sense: this can't be the only way.
It isn't.
The Grace Effect exists for leaders who are ready to explore what's possible on the other side of grinding it out. Not productivity hacks dressed up in nice language, but a way of leading that actually produces better results and leaves you more whole along the way.
That's what grace does when it becomes your operating system as a leader. And that's what this publication is about.
I used to be really good at grinding it out in business. Embarrassingly good.
With years of leadership across Fortune 50 corporations and then as a full-time founder and entrepreneur, I had mastered the art of delivering results through sheer force of will. I didn't know another way. Most high-capacity leaders don't.
Then everything changed. Not through a better strategy or a new productivity system, but through an encounter with Grace that I couldn't manufacture. I discovered what it actually looks like to lead from grace rather than grind, and it transformed not just how I work but who I am as a leader.
That transformation became my mission.
Since 2012, I’ve directly mentored and advised nearly 1,000 leaders and reached over a million more through my books, speaking, and training. I’ve authored several books, including my best-selling Grace Over Grind and my most recent release Grace Under Pressure: A Story About Leadership and the Hidden Cost of Ambition.
I see grace as the most powerful and underestimated transformational force in business. I’ve seen the results in leaders, in teams, and in results. I want to see this for you too.
